Our organization was the first one in Poland to work out and successfully implement many unique research methods, such as for instance:

  1. method of estimating market share of particular companies within the one product group market, taking into account the specifics of the distribution system. This method enables fundamental differentiation between the structure of competitors on the side of the supply and the structure of competitors on the side of the demand and thus efficiently estimate competitive position of particular players on the market in a given time period
  2. methods of analyzing competitive environment, which, based on market share distribution one can determine aggregate competitive pressure which is exerted upon each company and divide such pressure into price competitiveness and market positioning. From the economic point of view this method enables to determine the budget which should be attributed by each company for the purpose of defending its so-far position and further expansion
  3. method of estimating the size and value of good flow in the system of building materials distribution; comparing distribution channels (long – classical, direct selling to the construction site, baumarket channel) with recipients segment (do-it-yourself, buy-it-yourself, small professional, big professional) and particular sources of supply
  4. method of analyzing the market value of makes and brands that are currently present on the markets of particular products groups. In this method the results of field research on the image and recognition of particular makes and brands are presented, using econometric model, as concrete economic values
